Good start so far. Just remember to pay attention to detail even if you are barely starting out. It's extremely important. Like for instance, the bricks in the wall are never that huge, try messing with the UVW mapping and add some bump to give it depth. The window is tiny and way to close to the ceiling. You have the room being illuminated without an actual illumination source (lamp). Detail is a good habit to get into right away when your starting off. Either way, nice start.
