Red Stones, Redstone Repeaters, Redstone Torches

You know, Minecraft becomes boring for me without using redstones and such so if anyone is very good at red stone, redstone torches and redstone repeaters can you teach me how those are used and how they can be used? Also a description of each item will be helpful. I know just the basic wiring with only redstones but i don't know what redstone torches and redstones are also used... So any help will be great! A Video will be nice too
