Still better than no server though. I've made private servers from scratch before, but none complex enough for something like Vindictus. I bet I can find a good cracker to make a hackshield-less version, which would make things so much easier. Because if we where to keep hackshield we would probably have to use a loopback adapter which would be a huge pain in the but for noobs.

I don't know much about Vindictus (Just started playing a few weeks ago, well actually I played the private beta then quit but w/e) but my guess is commands, packets, variable and table changes. Not totally sure. I've only seen one other game with private servers that uses commands, and it was a pretty crappy game.
