Oh, and if you want a solid budget card, get the 550 TI.
If you don't want to buy an i3/i5/i7, buy the Intel Dual Core Extreme, or a nice quad core.

combat arms has a pretty good quality of graphics if they are turned up... and if his computer can barely run the game at all let alone on the lowest settings he needs all the help he can get...
