Is there anyway to make it not record in HD?
It's taking up to much space on my hard drive
Can I change the settings so that it doesn't take up so much space?

Recording at a lower fps rate makes it smaller but I'm pretty sure you can't change the quality.
You can always try another recorder,but no decent ones come to mind other than Camtasia.

Fraps would be the best option. Just remove some stuff off your PC

Lower FPS.
And use @Moto's HD render options.
It will like be 80-90% less of the original file size.

Your ingame resolution would have to not be in HD then. For example, 800x600 isn't HD. Or you could have an HD ingame resolution and record in half-size (half your ingame resolution)

Those are my pussy render settings. You want real HD? Uncompressed AVI -> Easy .H264 Encoding

But those .wmv ones are still for people wanting HD that is great + good compression too.

By the way, all lowering FPS does is make the file size smaller + maybe a smoother gameplay when Frapsing because your computer can actually handle the rate you set consistantly.
