RS 2006 Private Server!?

i'm currently working on a Delta Based Rs Private Server wich looks like 2006...

should i release it here or share the source and the client?

I don't know who would play on it, but my biggest complaint with private servers. They always have insane exp rates. and you always have to kill rock crabs to get the exp lol. That's not necessarily bad. But they never have any music or sound files, so it's extremely boring to play. (I know that sounds dumb, but I normally play with sound, but no music)

any reason why 0 private servers have the sound files for RS?

because they are protected, they aren't in the cache etc... they run over the server, it's the same like you would ask:

why is my account data not stored on my pc so i can make myself mod?

i gave it up... way too less players, more than half of em were mod

this time i make it like this:

i will run an application after the server has started.

it will last like 2-3 days, then i will pick the most qualified players.

there will be like 2 mods and 1 admin... i think that'll be enough

i wouldnt. the good times were in 04 but try it anyways. make it like 525 box rune i used to love that shit. especially thier version of cwars
