So its my parents anniversary, they've been married for more than 30 years now and the past few years my dad hasn't been working and because of that we almost lost everything, and while my mother was busting her ass at work to put food on the table, keep the power on, and keep the water running, my dad really just didn't do much at all. but we got some luck and was able to get some social security benefits, so now we have got money to help pay bills and to live a little better. So i told my dad that you should take my mom to a nice restaurant for dinner or just go do something together all day which they haven't in a long time. But the next day my dad said he was getting her some flowers... ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS?!?!? flowers? my mom is worth more than 100 dollar flowers, all my mom needs is so quality time with him which they haven't had in years. So today at about 8:00 am i hear my mom crying because she was taking the day off because last year he said that if we can get the social security that next year will do something together and now he's denying that he said that. i have lost all respect for my father at this time, its only 8:30 right now so maybe he might have something planned or maybe i can talk him into taking her somewhere nice. for now fuck him
