When I was younger I spent a significant amount of time at a friends house, enough to where my friend's mom would call me her son, and I would call her my second mother.
Well yesterday morning, my 2nd mom's mother passed away, their family is basically my second home.
I'm going to the funeral when I find out when it is, but I've never been to one. Don't know what to do.

Try avoiding looking at the body. That's when it hits you the hardest. Just go STRAIGHT to a seat unless you can hold emotions ridiculously well.
I'm sorry for you bro.
Go at the funeral. If u have to try, you will. If no, than it'll be okay too.
RIP Toxin's Second Mom'S Mom
I'm seriously sorry for you bro.
Just Cry
Thats all i do.
If it's open casket at the wake/viewing if you are going to that,
You just go up to the casket, and drop your head for a few seconds, close eyes to pretend yer prayin if you don't feel like saying one.
The rest is pretty much just sittin or standing around.

I'm so sorry babe I remember you told me stories about her before.i hope you're okay..
Wear black dont talk nod your head down hope your ok
Wear a black Tux, be nice, say sorry, mourn with them, if you care about them you will know if you need to cry or not. Just go with it, do what feels right.
Sorry to hear this btw. Didn't say that earlier.
Losing someone close to you is never easy.
