OT: Run your computer in safe mode, download a GOOD Antivirus. and do a scan,
do you know exactly what the virus is? like is that the only thing it does is takes you do a different site? like what kind of site? is it a site to buy a new AV or so it says and to clean your computer ( SCAM ) dont ever fall it for it.

i remember when i got the 2010 antivirus thing, almost killed my computer lol forgot what it was called..

but if its just that it changes your site, then its just adware and not really a virus, so just run a scan in your AV and it should get rid of it
