everyone this works, but the problem is when you sound effect off you won't hear new ghost's breaths, unless someone can macro this you're useless up against a real BL'er. before you can type this in. they going to kill you

For those who don't know what it does; basically when you type in /s 0 near a ghost, all sounds are completely muted except the ghost's breath, allowing you to easily PP under even the loudest of conditions. Then, you simply type /s 100 after the surrounding area is clear of ghosts.

This method is practically useless against any half-decent ghost if you don't macro these commands as you would generally be killed before you could type them in. The problem is you can't use the ingame macro system nor any macro programs as they aren't compatible with CF.

However, certain mouses come with built-in macro systems which DO work for CF. For example, my Logitech G500 which costed me roughly 60 dollars.

However, I strongly encourage players to follow Hero's advice and words of wisdom instead of using this method.
