S.O.S the game is so slow

i used 2 run this game very fast on 1600 x 900 maximum settings

my specs is
core 2 duo e8200 2.66 GHz
2 GB DRR2 ram
Radeon HD5670 1GB

now the game is so slow and not playable and i noticed that the game slows very much when i move my mouse

all i tried to fix this problem is

updated all drivers
installed Norton 360 5.0 and done a full system scan
tried everything on the first post
re installed the game

but it still unplayable

Those 2 gb DDR2 ram are...weak...you should have 4 gb the game uses 1.8 gb at least at me

i was running it at full speed with those 2 GB

sometimes i get BSOD because GB inst enough but i turn off every other program and it was fine i remember running this game for 15 h 11 min on those 2 GB so it isn't the ram

Don't know then..i used to run it full too but after a while i got similar issues as you had to keep it on normal

actually i cant even run it at the lowest setting or resolution

your problem is cpu at least you need dual core 3.0 ghz

P.S you should also get more ram sometimes games uses 2.5gb (for me)

the problem is with the same hardware i was runing the game very fast

and after a week its unplayable

This game has the worst optimizations of any game.

I have an i7 2600k, 8gb ram, and I can only run it low-med

I am using intel integrated gfx until I get my video card, though these integrated graphics run Crysis 2 on high

Every player on the game needs to protest to G1 to fix this already broken game

This game is a big ram and cpu whore. It's on par with GTA IV as far as optimization goes. 4GB of ram and a 3.0ghz duel core at the least

Your RAM for one thing is a very big issue. The bigger issue at hand as someone above touched on is the optimization of the game. This game was never optimized and only got worse when G1 fucked with it.

I use to run it with 2GB's on high with a little stutters here and there (if I turned to medium nothing). Now I installed an additional 2GB to get 4GB or RAM and I can't even push a low without 30 mins - 1 hour in a black screen/my PC freezing and requiring a reboot.
