Cheat engine guide and how to use this in crossfire and even in other games

Ok I have been created a thread once again.. it is my 3rd thread this month. But anyway let us back on the topic.

This is a guide for a beginner in cheat engine and the information that I will post is just based on my experiences in using this tool.

This thread is about:
1. Learning the main parts of cheat engine.
2. Using the cheat engine in simple games and other programs.
3. Using it in crossfire as a hacktool detect remover.

So let`s start!

Before learning cheat engine let us define what it is,
What is cheat engine?
based on my experiences, cheat engine is a simple tool used in hacking Lan games, y8 (I think) and online games also even the timer in a computer shop like cafe manila. Cheat engine is also a tool used in coding a hack..you can see a tutorial that cheat engine requires in coding the source code

Parts of Cheat Engine

This is a summarize of the main parts of cheat engine:

1. The process selector ( I don`t know the real name I just invent it )

It has a big role in cheat engine cause it has to be clicked and a window will pop up like this:


What is the role of this window?
This window is a list of running processes and your game must running of course.. then you will see the name of your game and you must select it..

2. The First scan and next scan


before clicking this, you must have put some values in the value box:


you will learn more about this when the tutorial goes on.

3. Set-up the Settings


This is the only part that I am not familiar.. just read the instructions of the hack maker..

But I have some idea in this setting:
a. scan type box= I think it is must always in exact value.. but if the hack
maker said that it must in other option just follow them.
b. value type box= follow the instructions of the hacker.

that`s all I know..

4. Address list


This is a list of addresses pop-outed after you clicked scan.
you will learn more as this tutorial goes on..

5. ( I don`t know the title )


This is where the address you selected will go you will learn more about it as the tutorial goes on..

Using cheat engine in simple games and other Programs

Ok first I apologize that the game that we`ll cheating is from y8 but you can do it in Lan games..

1. you must know what you have to cheat for
(ex. golds, Health, power, and etc. as long as it is in number form)
2. a. open cheat engine
b. click the process selector
c. the process you will choose is must your game but when you are playing
a browser game like in my example is from y8, select your browser.
note: when you are playing a browser game, use internet explorer.
d. do not change anything in the settings
e. type the value of you money or something else that you want to cheat.
then hit first scan.
just like the image shown:

f. do something that you have to change the value of what you have
scanned in my case, my money is I want to cheat so I have to earn
some money. then type the new value to the value box then hit
NEXT SCAN..

g. continue it then when you have only 1 address left, double click it
h. then the address will be placed in the lower part of the cheat engine.
j. right click the address at the lower side of the cheat engine and then
click "change record" then click "Value" after that, a message will pop.

k. on that message, type any number you want even 999999999 then click
ok. then your money or whatever you cheat for will be the value of
what you typed in the message..

Using Cheat Engine as XTRAP bypasser in Crossfire

Ok I will not cheat the real crossfire cause of the new banning system let us just imagine that i am cheating crossfire..

cause im not illustrate the hack anymore i will just illustrate the step 4-5

after you done the 3 steps, do the following:

tip: you can choose the process crossfire even without clicking it in the process selector... just do this steps:

1. on the cheat engine, click edit>settings then a window will pop-out

2. then search for the tab name: "automatically attach to process named" then type Crossfire.exe


now let us back on the XTRAP bypasser.. I will illustrate now the 4-5 step of the cheat engine method..
note: before running the bypass, make sure that you have done my tip above so you don`t have to choose crossfire from the process list ( for short word it is a shortcut )

4. While in the log-in screen, type in the value box "23" without the "" then hit first scan.. then it should be like this:

note: when you are cheating, there are more addresses found on the address box but in the pic. it is only few because im in the process of notepad just imagine that we are cheating crossfire..

5. a.when the hacktool comes out, type in the address bar "29" without the ""
then it should be 1 address only.. double click the address then it should be in the lower part of the cheat engine it should be like this:


b.after right click the address click "change record" then value it should be like this:

c. a window will pop-up then type there "23" without the ""

then click ok
d. change the value type 4 bytes to float then press delete in-game


One more Cheat I know using cheat engine:

Yes you can find it in Cheat Engine but I did not tested it yet. I use olly
