There are tools to download parts of Multiplayer maps, however you can only download parts of them at once. If there's a specific creation you want to save, you have to stand near it so it's loaded in your 'cache'.

First, back-up both the server world and the singleplayer world.
Second, if your going to change a Singleplayer world into a server world then open up the world folder that you have selected (singleplayer) then open up and replace all of the files from the singleplayer world folder to your server world folder. There you have it, and if you want to make a Server world into a single player world just do the exact opposite.

MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR WORLDS if you don't then you may loose one.

I think you can just delete the player folders and put in saves,

The player folders are pointless to delete since they just remake themselves.

Btw @ghost123456 You can find the multiplayer world in your server folder it is in the folder that is the same name as your world just follow what I said in my previous post.

Please, read other peoples posts before you post, you pretty much said what I said without explaining in a high amount of detail like I did...

@ghost123456 Did I help you, is the problem solved?

Just take the world in the multiplayer folder and put it in your "save" folder in your .minecraft folder.
    /solved
