Any AM3 cpu, preferable the x4 955 or 965, a 990X board (GA's UD3 is great imo), 2*4GB of any decent 1600MHz CL8 or better ram, a spinpoint F3 or two for raid0, a decent case (I personally love the Fractal Design Core 3000) & a good psu (note that power != good, it has to be able to maintain that power. Also it has to be able to deliver it across the used rails, not like some PSUs that advertise like 800W but only manage to give up to like 600W when using just three 12V rails >.> - i'm saying this solely because Boss is being misleading, you'll most likely live with any 600W+ psu). When it comes to gfx cards just grab a 6850 or 6950 2GB, should handle anything you throw at it atm.
