sigh what is it a 15 hr maint now? damn im tired of them not doing there jobs right

Well having worked for various companies that needed server maintenance/updates/upgrades and what not. It's really hard to tell how long its going to take, coming from experience. One time we found a dead rat inside the server that caused the mobo to fry or whatever (how? idk) but things like that are hard to predict. But tnh, 12-15 hours -_- I'm just smh.

Long patching/maintenance != not doing job correctly


You guys need to understand there is quite the barrier on foreign MMOs when something doesn't work right because of the extensive process that takes place to get information to get it passed. If 15 hours really kills you, I think you should just pick up a new game for patch days.

While we're at it, let throw in [update 5] and [update 6] as well. It's actually good that they extend the maintenance now when not a lot of people play. I hope to wake up to some new and exciting stuffs tomorrow. Of course, I'm not ruling out the possibility of updates extending well into tomorrow.

Well, what I do not understand is that it is taking this long, are we getting EP 9? well, i doubt we will.... and if we will not, then why taking so long?

i really wish that instead of just telling us concrete times they would just explain a start time and describe the process that they are in fact doing in updates such as

start time 7:00
update 7:20 found a dead rat in the server, woah! might take awhile more maybe 3-5 hours?
update 8:00 solution has gotten quicker then we thought server maintenance expected to change on 10:00
update 8:45 alright well Dave peed on one of the servers because he thought it was on fire extending maintenance time to 4-6

The problem is (the thing that makes us mad) is that they AREN'T FUCKING HONEST!

Seriously! They should just stop lying about they're updates so somewhat impatient people like me wouldn't rage. I wouldn't mind waiting 24 hours if they fucking told me it was exactly 24 hours and if it DID last 24 hours, but if they told me 24 hours, and then extend it 3 times+ for 3 hours then I'll get pissed off.

Bottom line is that they should just truthfully tell us, or even say something like "The maintenance will last for about 18 hours" and then the maintenance actually ends 2 hours early.
