Tested & working on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. You might need to get your IP changed if you have static (you can do that by calling up your isp and asking for a change), or some other method. :3
So let's get started!
Step 1: Do the keyboard shortcut Windows key + run and type "cmd".
At this point, Command Prompt should be up and running. That means your on a good track so far.
Step 2: Type "getmac" and press enter. Then your mac address should pop up. The "Physical Address" is the one we're looking for.
Step 3: Copy and paste the address into a text file somewhere, you'll need it later on.
Step 4: Open the Start Menu and search "Network and Sharing Center"
Step 5: Then click "change adapter settings"
Step 6: Right click your adapter (whichever one you're using for internet)
Step 7: Click properties then configure.
Step 8: Find the advanced tab and click on it.
Step 9: Under property, scroll down to "Network Address" and click on it.
Step 10: Make sure the top bubble is selected, and paste your MAC Address from Step 3 in the box.
Step 11: Replace a few numbers in the middle with some new numbers. (I.E. 00FFCFDD3E4D, then 00FF34D1334D)
Step 12: Then click "Ok" and exit.
Warning, you may want to change your name before you run alteriwnet again.
If you get the IW22 Error, follow these steps.
Step 1: Download the file in the attachment (1|2)
Step 2: Run it as an administrator
Step 3: Click Ok ONCE, then exit the program
Voila, you're done. Once again, this only works for DYNAMIC IP.
Admins will be like.
Throw some thanks my way if this worked.
