yeah there is one "DoItYourself.EXE".

Blast the crap out of your scanner (most still are limited to XP at max so... try another pc or previous instal OR~ a virtual pc with xp or win7 XP mode).

thing is, my little laptop is the only thing that worked with my scanner, now i keep getting blue screens from it because of registry errors. afdsfasdfdsafasd

Take a picture? is worse but i'll guess it will overcome the problem of uploading. and now i do think it's an OS problem... so try to find an old install of xp or something to run the scanner on. the latest windows version kinda are buggy on the drivers (in general).;
