It depends on what size of earring. Im assuming around 16 or 14. If you already Have had a hole there before forcing a 16 in will be fine just tuff up lol if it doesnt feel right start it off by numbing your ear and put a needle through. Not so sure about 14 though I am no expert but i would probably just force it through and let it heal naturally (then stretch it to make it into gauges cuz they better imo). But if your "earrings" are size 10 or bigger there actually gauges and id reccomend starting at a smaller size and using tapers to stretch your ear after u had smaller earrings in for at least like 3 days to a week. But thats prob not the case lol
