Well one of the main problems in cf is probably lag. So this is a easy way to help your Ping.
- Go to start button (bottom left)
- Type in Run and press "ENTER"
- From here type in "cmd" (something should pop up with green letters)
- From here type in this exact code "ipconfig /flushdns" Press "ENTER" (Don't forget Space after ipconfig)
- It should Windows IP Configuration so on...
For people who are getting the following message: “Requested operation requires elevation”.
Do the following:
- Click the Start logo in the bottom left corner of the screen
- Click All Programs
- Click Accessories
- RIGHT-click on Command Prompt
- Select Run as Administrator
- In the command window type the following and then hit enter: ipconfig /flushdns
- You will see the following confirmation: Windows IP Configuration. Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.
That is all you need to do. What this will do is it will make you have steady ping and may also decrease your ping. So no more spiking. If you are one of those people who download a lot of stuff you should do this more often about once every month.
Hope this helps you guys.
