You don't get a message when a post is deleted, you get one when a thread is deleted. People need to know the rules. When they get a notification telling them that their thread has been deleted they should know and learn why - and not do it again.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Who cares if people hate you for what you have to do on the forums? On top of that if they try to start shit then 1. they obviously can't be mature, 2. a proper ban will set them back in place.
