XM8 is known for having low damage.
Though it might let u down sometimes..it could surprise you.
I would recommend M4 variants.
Some people prefer XM8.
However, XM8 is banned for some tournaments due to it's high wall damage.(when u shoot through walls it does a lot more damage than other weapons in crossfire)

i have xm8 adv and it is really great
xm8 adv is powerful but not so much as ak silver
m4cc is good only for his silencer all m4 are the same
xm8 is very good for shooting through wall this is true

Some are alike but each has it's own unique ability.
