just installed using pakscape aswell and when i join the multiplayer matches it gives me error "files are different from server" hope it helps.

3. Open the Texture hack v1.0.rar and let the files extract to your main folder.

TIL If you dont read the instructions right you fail -.-

Oh and btw it would not be too difficult to put the cod DIR into a var by some user imput at the beginning

Won't do anything in the CMD just blinks rapidly and says invalid choice, choose again

All the problems with the installer will be solved with the new version (should be up in aprox 1-2 days).
If you manually installed, and get files different from server, you did something wrong installing.
Restore your backups and try again.

64 bit version is bugged did everthing right and won't lanch now its saying check file filesyscheck.cfg now i didnt delete anything whats going on here

Heads up for 64-bit bugs, Game Directory not found for player models, but remove blood, explosive textures, and remove foliage work. Don't know whats wrong with the player models not being installed correctly. Followed all instructions, even did a file integrity check and tried to re-do the process. Still to no avail it doesn't work.

Edit: Also back ups do not work. The back ups go right into the same folder as the modified IWD's and not into the designated Backup Folder. On top of that it does not create the proper back up for 00, 01, 04, 06 and 14 IWD files.

No they don't match. The new files(hacked textures) are way smaller than the originals.
Is this still safe or what?

I wouldn't use them, files not matching is a good hint that something is not right. Wait a while and see how it goes with others, in the mean time you can use the other texture hack that is around.
