That is very true. Most one should ever use it for is either if it is a major effect or if you're trying to warm or cool.

Thats what I meant for making it warm or cool. Designed to make the colours gell better. Doesn't really change the colours though

Deep purple set to lighten. Doesn't need a gradient.

Actually I do that because It adds color, not so much to blend it
Black and white aren't really colors - they are shades, and never appear naturaly in nature so it's best to avoid using them
dark Purple/blue are good substitutes for black, and pink/offwhite etc for white of course :3
