Secrets to craft more than +10 weapon?

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't? How do you know it works in the first place. It's probably just coincidence. I've gotten to +14 before without fountain.

Besides, experienced coders have analyzed the files and there's nothing about the fountain that changes enhance rates. GG.

You still would be able to see it, just not change it. And for god's sake it's just coincidence, it does as much good as pressing B while catching a Pokemon.

No use arguing this further. This can't be proven either way since you said yourself, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

You would just see the code for the conversation since the RNG and all the shit that happens is server sided. But yes, It can't be proven that the fountain works though

Actually it could be proven to an extent. Do a scientific study: Enhance 100 twin shortswords with the fountain trick, then do it without the fountain trick. Be sure to record and document everything.

Now that I think about it, 100 might be too little. Try 300.

I would prefer a more decisive proof, like having the actual server code. That just takes too much resources don't you think?

You should have infinite monetary resources if the trick is real.
If you need more time, well then there's nothing you could then. If you divulged the information to me, I could perform this test. I have a lot of free time (hence why I'm here chatting at 11 PM).

You can go ahead and try it out but it's just not feasible. you only get one fortune a day. Trying it 100 times would take you 3 months. 300 times would be ridiculous o.0

Wait, so at most this works once per day, there's only a small chance of getting the correct fortune, and even after that there's a chance it might not work?

Small chance to get the correct fortune, but high chance it will work, atleast for me. Hence, it takes me days to make a +15

Today's fortune: Perhaps you shouldn't flatter yourself too much.
Enhance: +3 to +4 success, +4 to +5 fail, back to +3.

Today's experiment has been a failure.

And the fact that it could work to +15 is interesting, the other guy claims it only works up to +8.

Another thought: Up to +8 you could move the item around different characters. With multiple characters you can get a fortune for each one.

The other day i did 4 r9 enchants and took a whole set all 5 pieces to +6 without a single fail, don't ask me what my fortune was cuz I don't remember..old age. I just know it wasn't a fortune that I thought was going to help me much, so I just go to the fountain whenever I'm gunna do something, and try it regardless of the fortune.
