Im going to buy a new camera and i was thinking one of these

Samsung PL120 (16 MegaPixels, 5X Zoom, 2 LCD Screens ideal for self-portraits) - Highlighted specs


Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W570 (16 MegaPixels, 5Z Zoom, Wide len ideal for taking better panoramic photos) - Hightlighted specs.

Neither, get a canon s95 if you can since they're way cheaper now because the s100 came out. Or opt for the s100 if you can shell out. Best point and shoot cameras on the market, period.

If you are interested in taking more panoramic pictures then go for the Sony.
If youre just going to use it for taking daily pictures of yourself and others then go for the Samsung.

300-ish seems to be the trend online, if I'm not mistaken.

You're going to find one anywhere between 250 and 300 USD online for a s95, the new s100 is about 430 USD.

OMFG, The reasons the canon is better.... is because the sony with the samsung are around the $150.
