How to install Modloader for Minecraft 1.1

1. Download
2. Close minecraft
3. ran %appdata%
4. go in .minecraft > bin > minecraft(.jar)
5. extract downloaded file
6. drag .class files into minecraft(.jar)
7. delete META-inf
8. Reopen/close minecraft
9. Done (you will see a mods folder in your .minecraft)

It should in theory work, as those are C+Ped directions from the official creators, and I'm running fine on Windows 7. Google ModLoader and find the forum threads.

Hello guys, I have a question that I have not been able to find an answer for online or YouTube and was wondering if anyone here might have an answer for it and I appologize if this post is not the correct area to be asking this. I thought that it would be ok to post it here because it has to do with the modloader mod specifically and if not then sorry to be a bother and please be kind enough to direct me to the correct location to ask this.

I have been modding my minecraft for about a year now and understand just about everything up too actually creating mods and something that I have not been able to figure out is when I add zip files into my mods folder why all of them say they loaded up correctly in the modloader.txt but when it comes to them actually being in the game they will not appear (such as TMI while inventory tweaks will show up with no problem) and if there is anything that I would be able to do for it to run the way that it should be running.

If anyone could help me out or even find a link to some site or post that already answers this then I would be greatly appreciative for all of the help.
