I wish to avoid stupid questions, however knowing is better. Just curious because, is it because vac cannot run unless you actually play a game? Even then cant it detect "oh this user uses Support, and has assault kill streaks". Just curious.

vac will be detecting hacks when you are playing so when you start a map or even when you are start to connect so when you are searching for lobby ( not sure about that )
but if you only use it in barracks you are safe
