Photoshop help.

i've got a 90 day G36Ke, my skin fails hard. im thinking about making something like the gun being "ember" burnt. like on the cover of MW2 explosion, dust particals, glowing red hot parts, you know, the whole shabang. i'll be able to do most of it, except blending/adjusting to get the right look.

with photoshop. i can never blend the layers right.... i had a REALLY cool looking gun on layer mode, but the second i merged layers down it all fked up.

Don't merge the layers then.
