The light grey doesn't really suit the mod and the "blood" does not look much like blood. They look more like red splotches imo.

Dude chill out and take your time with these, just take some time out and put some extra effort in to your next release. When you think it's ready to post stop and show it to a friend and see if they can think of anything you could improve. Also it might be worth looking up some general guides on using whatever software you use and on how to create a realistic feel for your mods. Oh and if you haven't already find a copy of photoshop
