I believe +15 hack is a byproduct of .hfs editing, directly or indirectly.

Well shutting down their only source of income is kind of a stupid move in the first place, but they really had to do something. I'm thinking some Nexon higher-ups who don't give a shit about the in-game economy overrode the devs decision to shut down the depot.

There are only two options the way I see it:
1. Nexon knows about this and are waiting to find the best way to ban everyone involved/delete the +15s before patching the game.
2. Nexon does not know how to fix this.

Or maybe 3. They know how to fix, they know how to ban everyone involved but they wanna wait a few days to make a load of money from the exploiters, then will just ban the exploiters and delete the weapons!

Nexon makes money with the option of deleting +15s. It'll be pretty obvious if a +13 enhance is attempted but doesn't poof. They'll also be making massive amounts in NX sales. Sellers have probably sold 30+ weapons so far, raking in billions in gold and RL cash. Only one that risks losing out is the buyer.

Not worth risking 50k nx for this. So the hack is irrelevant. They may conduct massive bans tomorrow. We'll see.

I wonder if they have anyway of knowing which items are hacked and which aren't. I think the only thing they can do is delete all +15s made after a certain point. Sucks to have gotten a legit +15 then, but that may very well be no one.

Meh, who cares about the +15 hack? If it's made public +15s will plummet in price making them effectively worthless. If they're kept a secret they're worth a ton, but high chance of tons of +15s/accounts getting wiped when it's patched.
