I've noticed a recent rise in viruses disguised as hacks, so here are a couple things to ask yourself before downloading and running a program.

1) The Posters reputation.
Look at the users post count. Users with low post counts tend to be frauds, well more like 99.99% of them.

Look at his/her spelling, grammar, etc... Do you really thing someone who can't spell on an average level can really code a fully functional hack?



2) The hack
Most frauds tend to use outrageous hacks to catch your attention. Do you really think they will discover a new hack before Dave, or any other site's coders? They are the best at what they do, I doubt 'TheHackMaker' will discover some super duper one hit kill hack.



3) File Size
Take a look at the file size. Most Vip hacks don't even surpass a megabyte (mb). If the file size is 15mb, ask yourself if it's really worth the risk.



4) Virus Scans
Not 100% of viruses are going to get picked up by Anti-Virus. Nothing is perfect. Don't rely on a virus scan.



5) Be patient
Wait for a couple people to reply. Maybe someone will be the dumb ass before you. Instead of putting your own computer at risk, wait for someone else.

As you can see in the example above. The user, with 4 posts, states that he has created a temporary public hack. If "SuperGun" doesn't sound suspicious enough, the file size was 15mb.

Conclusion:
Just use your common sense, it was given to you for a reason.
Combat Arms is just a game.
Viruses are serious.You can put anyone who uses your computer at risk, just because you wanted to get an advantage on someone in a game.

I guarantee you won't be owning anyone when your living on the street because your moms bank account got keylogged.

I'm Beta Testing the 64bit Edition of Windows7 Ultimate and at this point < after 3 months > have had no problems running everything "game wise" that I did on XpPro. It just takes a betters system to use new software like with games if you want the max you are gonna pay!!! or you can just lagg your way through it

I have mcafee security suite and when i downloaded the public hack for combat arms it said it had quarantined a Trojan called Generic!Artemis, i looked it up on the mcafee virus search and there are two low risk Trojan, though one has ": )" on the end. Just a warning.

It's a false positive because Dave packs the hack.
