HELP.

Should I take this class next year:

1) Computer Programming HTML
2) Computer Programming Visual Basic

Although Visual Basic is easy as fuck, it'd be nice to strive in a class. And I might actually learn something since I've been stuck to C++.

On the other hand, HTML will be learning HTML, Web page design, program usage, and Javascript. It'd be cool to be able to make a website with just code and a simple template. I'd also learn Javascript, which would definitely be cool.

Next 5 minutes, going on my schedule for next year. VOTE NOW PLEASE.

Very good point. But I am planning heavily on going to college for Game Design or Computer Arts (for modeling things for games). Either way, I AM going to be in the game industry. Now, while game websites are needed, have you ever picked up an Xbox 360 game (as an experienced gamer) and said "Lets go to GTA IV's WEBSITE!"

Most likely not. I know I havent been to one games website unless it was before release date. While Visual Basic isn't used much in the commercial gaming world, it's a start, and it's the only programming class besides HTML available right now.

I’m just about to get my A.A. in IT/Networking, and the next 2 yrs I have to choose between web design/graphic tech or further into servers, HTML, etc. I’m going to choose the latter, because I believe there is a larger demand for that in the workforce. Even in recession, IT and Tech jobs look to still be on the increase and look pretty secure.

In my opinion, i say Visual, i learned HTML a while ago when i was about 7 when my father had time to explain it. But....that's my opinion, i think HTML is SUPPPPPPER EASY and very fast to learn. I really don't find the importance of it anymore, mainly cause my family hates me when im on the Computer allll day. What can i say? im a GEEK. But Go with visual, and pick up HTML after, it'sa really easy thing.
