I don't believe it started out that harsh, but then his attitude changed that. Now we get sick of the way acts so we tend to be a bit harsher.

Mate, tht isn't called taking criticism then; you can't be selective about criticism. If you were to take in the criticism, however, you would inprove boundlessly and learn from your mistakes. On the contrary, if you stay a cocky prick, the quality of your mods will continue to be limited. It's okay to point out what someone did wrong, but not if you make the same mistakes and don't acknowledge it; that is the height of hypocricy.
