Well there's not much to like, to be honest; although that background is what's best in here.
There are basically 3 layers that I can tell apart; the render, the background and the text. None of those fit together.
You need tutorials on blending, composition, flow and depth. The render is just a random floating head with no purpose whatsoever.
The background is blurry and of low quality. The text doesn't fit and it's too simplistic. Work on putting some decent effects such as fractals, textures and stuff.
Also, practice on render/effects placement while you're at it.

Ahh, your biggest problem right now is inexperience and hurrying, as you said it yourself, you made this in short time which is bad if you want to progress anyhow on making PS stuff.
You need to put more heart and hard work into it if you want it to become cool.
Basically all that I said for the first tag applies on the second piece.

Composition and background is terrible. Look up the rule of thirds. I looks like you just slapped the render on the background.Lastly, borders around renders? nonnonono
