Windows 8 Consumer Review and Combat Arms don't mix

I installed Windows 8 CR today because i usually do a reformat every 4-6 months depending on laptop performance... So i installed 8 today and i must say its amazing, runs faster than 7

how ever, combat arms does not work on Windows 8

even through compatability mode

if u run W8 and have ca working, please let me know what/how so i can fix it and bring you all more awesome hacks!

Windows 8 Consumer Preview is what they do for beta testing. I don't think Nexon will include support for an OS that's not complete. Made sure you installed latest drivers?

I don't think it will work at all, it might as I ran Combat Arms on Windows 7 Milestone 3 but you may get lucky.

those kinds of programs (transformation and skin packs) lag my computer to hell n back... Win8 doesn't and is faster than 7

Window 8 will not work at all, period. Because there is no compatibility for it. I was going to use Window 8, but my old clan leader told me not to.

Just disable the things that start on boot and have the modified explorer instead, lol.

It's actually HS that isn't compatible with Window 8, not the game itself.
