Hello MPGH.
Yesterday i coded GUI idle program because UniveXNet doesn't run under my wine(even with .net 2,3,4 on it).


Also i compared my tool with UniveXNet Idle tool

 

Pluses
+Not required .NET (meaning that could be launch "from the box" without installing .net)
+Can use custom port and add server right from program
+Have more than 1 ip in list(server ip loading from file "serverlist.txt" so you can easily add thousands of ip's and also you can easily select server that you want)
+Lightweight(45 kb) cause i used upx packer
+GUI
+Can use custom steam patch

Minuses
-Cant check if hl2.exe(tf2) running properly,this tool just launch it and that's all
-Cant check server availability.
-May contain some "Ingrish-like" language(because i am from Russia)

Instruction on how to use it
1)Download it from attachment(after moderators approves),unpack TF2idler.zip archive in some place that you like
2)Launch the TF2idler.exe
3)Scroll and click on server that you wish to connect
4)Press start idle
5)Select your steam patch,then select steam.exe
6)Enjoy your idling


You can add your own server by typing it in bottom form in format "iport" (for example- 127.0.0.1:1337)
Also you can add your own server list to the text file called "serverlist.txt" in format "iport" just by editing it with notepad or another text redactor.

Nah,it's impossibru,because item's in tf2 drop in random time

Maybe someday i will read how to choose command and class with console commands but now this tool just making hl2.exe connect to the server and thats all.

Greetings, nice to see someone did something similiar to my tool. Btw, in latest patch you CAN set other ports than 27015, thanks for noticing my tool, keep this work

EDIT: Could you send me problem what you have with running UniveXNet? Would like to fix it

Nah this problem its not in your tool,its problem with compatibility of .net and crossovere(Microsoft hates linux )
Also can you say how to create server availability checker?
I tried to use ping but still dont get this crap working..

Don't know what language you use, but I did it via Sockets.. Sock.Connect.. etc

Only way is to use sandbox/vmware/vbox
