Listen to VA Defcon 1 cd1 and you'll think differently. Hardstyle is a 90s dance raver genre. Also give Angerfist a try. It's wayyy better than dubstep just for the synths that go along with it.

Im not in electronic world.
And i dont think these Hardcore bands , like Asking Alexandria , Hopes Die last and others is an Electronic crap.
Luv the Hardcore screaming bands... (Also Luv Metal & Rock)

I'm a bit on and off with it too, I cycle between southern rock, Floyd and Modest Mouse, Metal, Hardstyle, and other 90's electronic genre's.

More kids listen to Dubstep than Hardstyle around my area, whenever I play some Zatox or Angerfist they bug out and turn up their shitty dub. And if you mean Mainstream as in that's what they play at real raves then well of course, it was the ONLY genre of the 90's to be played at the underground day-1 raveflips.
