Not right now, but it's easy enough. Right click on the speaker icon in your taskbar and select recording devices. Then just switch the default device to stereo mix. If you don't have it see if you can get any drivers for your sound card. If you already have them, you can always just say so here and I'll write a quick tut on VAC. Originally Posted by Sitting

Oh right, snap. I really dunno how it looks like in XP but on the more positive side I believe you pretty much always have a stereo mix available. Anyway.. I was with a similar problem long ago, also on XP.. I tried several things and couldn't get it to work, I admit I was a noob... But I gave up anyway... Just a question, why you don't install windows 7? It might fix your problem

Installing Windows 7 win't "fix the problem" since there is no problem to fix - choosing your input device is a feature. Now while it's true that it might be easier in Windows 7, that doesn't mean it can't be done in XP. Furthermore switching to Windows 7 might wholly remove stereo mix, making matters worse
