Paintings, less torches, more glowstone and redstone lamps

::PS:: Seems like if I add glowstone/redstone lamps in my rooms, it gets way too crowded. And torches really just make the room seem like a hellhole.

Hmm. The interior is quite nice, but on the outside like on your first picture is very dry. By that I mean, it doesn't really match and look good. Dark wood, sandstone, netherbrick, diamondblock, and birch wood.
