This was "copy/pasted" directly from the Nexon TOS. Sneaky little bastards got us on this one. So i guess my question is can they actually do it? We agreed to it but it is unconstitutional. What a quandary.

thats what nexon or hackshield really looks for.. so no matter what you rename it to ..... the injection itself is recognised by hackshield and terminated..thats the idea of the patch................

they don't patch hacks on their name, it's the method the hacks use to bypass Hack Shield.

Many methods find small explloits that HackShield doesn't search for, think of it as a side street for a guy running from the cops, he takes the side street to hide, and if in any case they wont find him, till they update their way of trying to find him, such as a helicopter.

Crappy example, yes... But easier to understand on how they patch hacks. That's why patched hacks can be unpatched with the use of a HackShield disabler/bypass, unless they also update their address's, so the originall ones the hack is targeting, no longer exist.

Practically the over view of how it's done though, not on hack names as HS can't find such things as ***.dll that has been injected into the game, it's just CALLED an injection, as what it really does, is send you commands such as:

Hotkey Pressed, manipulate address, colour players, visble threw walls.
Hotkey Pressed, Disable Settings. Address reset.

that's what it does.... Just like drug tests, can't find it in their system unless they know what they are looking for, a certain type of chemicals (.dll's injected) that they KNOW of.

one problem with this though, you can rename the hacks to whatever u want but ususally the hacks have soe kind of d3d or dll file

if that is renamed then the hack wont work

and nexon can just corrupt ONE of the d3d files and it wont work

OMG, the thread starter is a joke.

By the way, I felt nexon games had already intrude, modify and create files/folders without our consent every mins.

If you notice, when playing combat arms, "update" folder in "HShield" folder had been monitor live. Whenever the "update" folder of files in it is missing, it will create itself, and at the same time, create other new files in it.

lol i agree im gonna do this for the next pub hack for CA that comes out and i hope everyone else does too.... i might not use simple chams if theres a next version that comes out cuz it has a keylogger in 1.2
