Help in taking advantage of commands.

Hi, I'm not in serious need of help, but I know a server that let's its player strike lightning and cause explosions on enemies at their will by pointing and right clicking with a book. It's a plugin developed by the server owner himself. Is their any way I can take OP control of the server with this?
