I messing around with cheat engine and realized that gun modifications have addresses.
For instance:
Burst barrel: 13170
Trigger set 3: 18459
Ergonomic grip: 13173
Maybe you can put a lapua barrel on a gun that isnt a sniper or a burst barrel on a shogun idk.

You might be able to get somewhere with this. What I'm thinking is seeing if you could buy mods for m24 or the other basic weapons.
Can't afford Mods? Lol sad.
ok ill upload with tiny pic
need ideas how about the capsule hack (just an idea btw)
I don't think this will work because every gun has it's own mods. The same mod exists with like 10 different IDs for 10 different guns because every mod is exactly made for a specific gun and it's stats. It would not be possible to put another mod for shotguns on sth like a sniper or you will get game crashes, errors or a completely wierd looking or/and shooting gun.

This is what I was thinking as well. Unless @dacoolnic12345678910 you've tried and tested it and seen that it is stable, I don't think this hack would be very practical as it would most likely cause crashes and errors.
But it might work. If you've seen the tutorial glitch then you should know that scopet mods are rendered seperate from the gun, even if the mod doesn't exist. (Snipers can have no scopes, G3A3 can have dot sight). So it might work to some extent, like removing the giant a** dot sight on the G36 Rail to make it look sexier, or putting an EOTECH dot sight on the para (the sight that the m4a1 has). I don't know and I don't really want to waste an entire morning restarting AVA over and over again until I find one code. But I might test it after I get from work.
cout<<"do you have a life?";

return 0;
}
