Ok so after looking around i found out u can add some extra stuff to you're borderlands all you need to do is browse to the game folder open up DLC folder then POPremierclub then lic and then open the willowdlc doc have it set out to this...

This will get you all the extra unlocks and 99 golden keys, i also think you can get all the 4 Dlc's for free by just having a doc in that destination folder called SeasonPass all it has on it is the number 2, Il upload it try placing it in you're Borderlands folders if you havent brought the season pass to see if you get it for free

i did that but i used my key the first day... and this got me the item unlocks but not the keys some one help?!

This exploit has been patched, so it's not possible anymore.

I as well have used up a lot of my keys and I started with only 99 so at least you got more keys to begin with compared to me.

Besides, it ruins the fun of the game so stop doing it.

This Method is no longer work,which meant that is patched.If someone got any other way to add golden keys that works on PC I will be very thankful if he will post it here.

Hey there, there is a way how to get those keys back.

"First time registering and posting. Yes, it works. I tried that earlier tonight. Installed a copy of the game on my laptop, then created the dlc folder and modified the willowtree.ini to give me 255 keys. Loaded the game, it showed that I had 255 keys. Then transferred the profile.bin back to my tower. It shouldnt matter if its steam or disc or skidrow or anything. I did the disc based install and it still worked on my steam download.
CHANGE .cea extension to .bin "

ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR SAVED GAMES

So basically what you have to do is download the attachment bellow "profile.cea" then rename it to "profile.bin" file and put it into your save game folder "C:\Documents\my games\Borderlands 2\WillowGame\SaveData\Long String of numbers" then just go into game and enjoy the redemption of golden keys.
