For everyone else at large: Don't forget to change your save to a different character before Alt+Tabbing back and selecting the new save you made! No need to restart the game this way, but you do need to reload your character save.

Thanks for this, might speed things up for me, ive just been quitting LOL, but i got a monster SSD so the game only takes like 20 seconds to get into game from steam so its not to bad.
