Ive done it both methods and both times it does say updated to 12.0 but it immediately kicks me out of nexus everytime....any explanation? There are some blue words that float above my head but i am kicked before i can read them.....Ive used thew 11 client with yogda and the 5 client with the long method

Once it let me walk around for a few feet when i removed my pet still kicked me say that it had a socket server protocol error:error: error 2030... it did have all hacks working correctly<<<this is with the yogda 11 one

Its because the nexus is changed and you cant simply just edit the file you need to wait for a new client

is there a way i could do this myself? I am rather familiar with coding and can get almost any tool i need that i do not already have? Is there anyone that can help me with this?

Hi, i did the longer method, and change 11.1 to 12.0 but it doesn't work, they are still telling me "client update needed". If someone can help me.. (sorry for my english, i'm french)

I don't want to support the necrobump but change from version 11.1 to version 12.0
That should do the trick

Alright i'll try it droppy...if it doesn't work anybody think i can get somewhere with the hacks from the 11.1 client and the skeleton of the released 12 un modded client?

I dont believe changing the build version from the 11.1.0 to 12.0.0 update works. I first tried to update an old version several hours after the update and ended up with a bunch of 'Socket-Server Protocol Error: Error: Error #2030's since build 12.0.0 parses 'UPDATE' and 'NEW_TICK' packets differently than the 11.1.0.

Id say its Shadow Studios way of trying to nerf clients, and the only way to create a 12.0.0 client is from the ground up.

That's correct. As of right now, there are no public hacked clients for 12.0.0

Im going to try to add the hacks to the unmodded 12 client that was uploaded...until then if any good coders want to do it be my guest haha!

Toni i am pretty sure you can do it with any previous client...atleast it worked for both the 5.0 and 11.0 clients for me

Might be that you havent decompiled a 4.0 client, if its a client you have used recently, I'd say you are looking for 11.0 or 11.1 ... this post is old why a 4.0 client is being mentioned. Anyway doing this wont work, you will be kicked from the servers, I've only managed to play in a realm for about 4 or 5 minutes before I am kicked.

I am bumping this thread up.

I am wondering if we can use this method to update the hacked clients? Nothing changed much, just the lags got a bit relieved and trading is back on.
What do you guys think? Possible?
