Someone who can remove a RAT virus

The asshole sent me a RAT virus and i didnt even know what it was until last night

So i am like 80% sure i removed it but you know i still have the fear he can keylog me

So if someone has expirience with removing RAT virus and is so kind to do than for me trough Teamviewer i would love it

Run CCCleaner.(only removes it if he got it in through cookies/temp files, cleans up your pc anyay so id recommend running it no matter what, doesnt even matter if you do have a virus or not)
Run Malware Bytes Anti Malware (free, but premium codes are free here: https://www.mpgh.net/forum/2-general/...yts-codes.html ) (run full scan with this before doing anythong else I recommend)
Task manager-> Proccesses -> Show all processes and find unusual ones and post them here. (Do this 2nd, cccleaner doesnt specialize in virusses but its more of a l
Ucky shot, since the virus might be in the files it cleans)
That should do the job for now, Malware bytes will probably clean it up already so do a full scan with that before trying the other 2 options

Just be sure it definitely is removed. Also, you should never trust ANYONE whilst downloading anything over the net, this is why we scan every attachment that is uploaded here on MPGH. We don't trust ANYONE, and this is the reason why.

I honestly suggest a reformat.

Also, do a full system scan with your antivirus software, but make sure you run hijackthis, it's a miracle worker.

Reformat/Reboot your operating system to make SURE 100% That's GONE. Just make sure to copy all of your files from the hard-drive, onto a floppy disc, or any other memory stick .
