Since you got the basics of sig making, try looking up some tutorials on blending on backgrounds.
If you want, I could make a tut on blending for you..

I say they are too big to be siggys.... and u shouldnt use elements 7 the best to use is photoshop cs3 or cs4 and if those are too complicated for you use GIMP its free
