Halo Tut (uK's edition)

This is 100% mine, if it bares resemblence to any other graphic artists work lo siento, but not my fault.

Meant for Beginners:

Step 1: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/1ststep.png[/IMG] Start off by making a new image, i like 380x120 or 400x150, what ever suits you.

Step 2: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/3rdstep.png[/IMG] Now, find your render (i picked halo because there are tons of them around) cut him out and move him to a focal point, and pay attention to flow.

Step 3: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/4thstep.png[/IMG] now add a quick brush here or there to organize where u want the flow to go or to get a feel for the colors.

Step 4: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/5thstep.png[/IMG] Find a render you like/complenments your render...remember you want the C4D to flow with your render not the other way around. Step 5: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/6thstep.png[/IMG] now what i did, (and the following steps vary by tut) is add a fractual brush to the sig over the C4D, i picked yellow because i thought it went well. Brush over the sig, enough that it covers it but not enough u cannot see the C4D

Step 6:[IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/7thstep.png[/IMG] now add a black fractual ontop of the first fractual (if needed, i just wanted to tone down the yellow a bit)

Step 7: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/9thstep.png[/IMG] ok, now that you have a better idea of where your going, put some more brushing on the sig. (REMEMBER TO MAKE ANEW LAYER EVERYTIME!!!) then what i do is, make a new layer, after the new layer. and brush a few graffiti brushes on then between the two layers hit alt+left click. it makes it so that the layer ontop is only shown on the visible layer below. as seen here: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/95thStep.png[/IMG]

Step 8: Now your going to wanna add the txt, my only advice to you here is keep it short, sweet, and simple. like instead of Uknown101 i go by my nickname uK. SIMPLE FONTS LOOK BEST!

Step 9: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/11thstep.png[/IMG] ok, now this is also optional, i duplicate the render, add a guassian blur (1.2pixels) and add a small outter glow. then move that render behind the un-editted on and put the un-eddited one on Overlay. i personally think it looks better.

Step 10: ok, make a new layer, go image-->apply image and add a Black and white gradient map (found under layer-->adjustment layers-->gradientmap) put that on 20% opacity, then go Layer, Adjustment Layer, and add in a photofilter (whatever suits your sig best) i used deep yellow at 50% opactiy. after that i added another Gradient map of Violet, Green, and Yellow set that on 15% opacity. (REMEBER THE LAYER CAN DIFFER DEPENDING ON YOUR SIG, these are recemandations)

Step 11: [IMG]https://i15.photobucke*****m/albums/a359/FISHFROMLC2/15thstep.png[/IMG]go layer, new layer. then select, select all. after that go Edit stroke, 2px, center black is what i usually do.
