I think it Windows 8 can definitely be uninstalled from your hard drive, the thing I think you need to worry about that is that you will need to buy a new Windows 7 OS again, which can be a heavy cost. I heard that Windows 8 is really bad for gaming because it is a completely a different new setup, whats really changed is that the start bar from Windows 8 is gone, which has been a huge use in the past for Windows OS. I think that you should just stick with Windows 7 or Vista, personally because its just simpler and efficient, Windows 8 really does bring a new look and feel but it seems that they just copy and pasted their Windows phone OS and put it on a computer.
