hey i discovered a physical exploit also that always works and is great. I simply did some "research" and went to all places that have steam cards. I figured out that cvs, the pharmacy, has 20 cards that are always preactivated due to lazyness. So steal a stack of only the 20 dollar ones from your local cvs and they always work every time. its amazing. The only issue is they dont restock of about a week or 2. But only the 20 dollar ones work, the higher ones like 50 dont at cvs.Have fun!

I can't speak as to the workability of this exploit, but here are some tools you can use if you intend to make a fake receipt yourself:

This is the best font I could find to emulate receipts

...And here is a .psd I made for a fake one

If this isn't working for people, I'm going to guess that Steam can verify these codes whether or not they were activated, and since you're all just typing gibberish, it's obvious that they aren't actually valid. I'm going to go with accidental partial destruction for mine. Inkblot, coffee, etc.
